The Licensed Mental Health Provider (LPC/LCSW)will deliver mental health services to patients in a correctional healthcare setting, including assessments, therapy, and treatment planning for individuals with mental health disorders. This role will ensure the delivery of evidence-based care, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with medical and clinical staff to provide comprehensive patient care. The Licensed Mental Health Provider will also work to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Provide crisis management and short-term, solution-focused therapy as needed, including therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services. participate in ongoing treatment planning and case management. Collaborate with healthcare staff, mental health professionals, and correctional staff to coordinate patient care and treatment. Document patient activities, treatment progress, and any changes in care plans. Adhere to established policies, procedures, professional standards, and all federal, state, and local guidelines. Maintain compliance with continuous quality improvement, safety, infection control, and environmental standards. Respond to requests from correctional staff and MEDIKO staff in accordance with facility guidelines and conduct standards. Follow the facility's rules, regulations, and chain of command while working within the detention/correctional environment. Provide clinical supervision to Resident LMHPs, as applicable, in accordance with applicable state licensing board requirements and organizational policies, ensuring appropriate oversight of clinical care, documentation and professional development. What we Ask of YOU: A current, valid state(s) licensure, LPC, LCSW Master's degree required 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a correctional healthcare or similar environment. Experience in roles that involve direct patient care or administrative support in a regulated environment is preferred. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to the correctional setting is an advantage. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, adhere to protocols, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced, structured environment.
