Evening Restaurant Server (Full Time)

Restaurant Server
A restaurant server takes orders, answers questions about the menu and food, sells the restaurant's food and drinks, takes payment, communicates orders with the kitchen staff via the POS, seats customers, and helps with customer service and cleaning.
Provide menus and make recommendations on food and beverage selections to enhance the dining experience.
Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and ensure their timely delivery.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Process guest payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in accordance with local health regulations.
Stay updated on menu items, daily specials, and any changes to food and beverage offerings.
Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to alcohol service and responsible serving practices.
Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends, and holidays.
Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification
Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity
Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
