An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a talented Construction Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated construction-related disputes from inception through trial, working directly with clients and playing a key role in case strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent advocacy skills, and a background in construction or complex civil litigation. Manage construction litigation matters through all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment through resolution and trial.
Draft and argue pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and dispositive motions.
Analyze construction contracts, specifications, change orders, project records, and related documentation.
Evaluate claims, defenses, contractual obligations, and litigation risks.
Develop and execute effective litigation strategies tailored to client objectives.
Participate in trial preparation, including witness preparation and evidentiary analysis.
Independently manage assigned matters while working closely with partners and litigation teams.
Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience .
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
Ability to independently manage litigation matters and deadlines.
Experience handling construction litigation matters.
Familiarity with construction contracts, project documentation, change orders, delay claims, defect claims, and other construction-related disputes.
Experience representing contractors, subcontractors, developers, property owners, insurers, or other stakeholders in construction projects.
Background in complex civil litigation, including mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
