We are seeking a motivated PCB Design Engineer to contribute to our mission supporting our work at Sandia National Labs in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The successful candidate will support a team in the design, development, test, and deployment of novel embedded computing solutions. Team with PCB Designers, firmware, and software engineers to create embedded computing solutions.

High School Diploma
Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required.
Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (Please note that marijuana remains a Schedule III controlled substance under Federal Law. Federal contractors must follow Federal drug-free workplace rules, which prohibit marijuana use, even if medical or recreational use is permitted under State Law.
Experience with PCB layout, testing, and debugging for applications involving state-of-the-art FPGAs, high speed, and large memory
Experience routing signals with high-speed data-rates (5+ gb/s)
Experience with fine design features (3 mil trace & space)
Contract Duration 1-2 years
