Position Summary: The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.
Hours / Schedule: PRN-RN On Call
Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university (or international equivalent) preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year of recent acute care experience in an institutional settingrequired.
Current RN license valid in the assigned state(s).
Provide professional nursing carein accordance withthe State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, including vital signs, physical exams, and review of medical history.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Monitor and document patient status, including changes in condition, pain, and response to treatments.
Provide patient and family educationregardingdisease management, medications, and self-care techniques.
Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
Participate in daily rounds, interdisciplinary team meetings, and patient care conferences.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives andmaintaincompliance with regulatory standards.
Maintainaccurateandtimelydocumentation in the electronic health record.
Attend continuing education, in-services, and training tomaintainclinical competency.
