About the Position
Location: Venice Family Clinic is the client (affiliate of UCLA). 11 main clinic sites throughout the LA area, near Venice Beach. Would have a home base between 1-2 locations to keep that provider in a reasonable commutable area.
Start Date: Upon Credentialing (within 3-4 months)
Schedule: 5 8s starting 8a and 11a (1-2 evening shifts/week).
Some flexibility to do 12s, but would depend on the location of the clinics they assign that Locums to.
No option for 4 10s with how they schedule throughout the clinics.
Open to different amounts of coverage availability, as far as weeks/month. 4 weeks/month would be ideal, but a couple weeks/month or something along these lines would also be utilized (part timers welcome to apply)

EMR: Epic
Support Staff: Robust support staff. Medical Assistant support. RNs and LVNs in all locations. Behavioral Health on-site. Multiple resources at each site.
Patients seen per day: 18 per day on average
Minimum experience: 2 years minimum required. Spanish speaking strongly preferred. Family Medicine/Internal Medicine background.
Credentialing timeframe: 12-14 weeks
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine
Board Eligible okay? Eligible okay if good explanation/good reason and adequate skillset
Malpractice: Clean Background ideal. No major malpractice will be accepted. Will look at on a case-by-case basis

DEA: YES

Willing to license: No, must have CA license
