Assist with planning and coordination of various Office of Student Affair student success programs such as ASPIR2E (5%).

provide required annual student activity trainings, manage student organization sponsored event forms, assess and manage risk mitigation review and forms to follow TAMU and HSC rules and policies and track student organization events (20%).

Serve as the College Liaison on the CS campus between students and TAMU business operation offices such as TAMU Business Services Office, Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, International Student Services, Registrar’s Office, and Graduate Admissions; Provide general academic advising for all pre‑pharmacy and admitted students; insurance, tuition payment, registration assistance); Assist with the planning, organization, direction, and management of various programs within the Office of Student Affairs, specifically the College’s annual Commencement; responsibilities include budgetary reports, operations, cost allocations, purchases, reserving facilities, hosting and coordinating pre‑ and post‑ceremony events, working with students on commencement and regalia orders, etc. (Develop, coordinate, and participate in the planning and execution of student services programs outside of Commencement; contribute to budget operations as it relates to student services purchases and operations (5%).

Supervise and train program staff, including student workers to ensure required training is up‑to‑date.

Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2 Years of related experience in student affairs, including academic counseling, records and registrar, admissions, financial aid or related area.

Three years of broad experience in an area related to student affairs, including but not limited to academic counseling, records and registrar, admissions, or financial aid.

Knowledge of MS Office, Student Information Systems (e.g., Work schedule may include occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight travel.

Working knowledge of office software and instructional programs.

Facilitation and adaptation of course content.
