Hexcel is currently seeking a Finishing Operator for our Pottsville, PA, USA location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Responsible for cleaning out core debris prior to shipping.
Verifies product is within tolerances using measuring devices including, but not limited to protractors, scales, calipers, micrometers and other inspection tools.
Will repair product defects such as, but not limited to open nodes, split cells walls, bond lines and other surface repairs.
Will perforate, trim and or sand to meet customer specifications.
Prepares parts for shipping including kitting, pre packing when required, and properly stores parts in a safe manner.
Qualifications:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required.
Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing.
Experience using small hand and power tools, a plus.
Basic computer skills - WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, required.
Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational skills.
Experience working with handheld scanners, interacting with MRP or inventory control systems, preferred.
