Join Our Team as a Groundskeeper!
Bettendorf Community School District is seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper to join our team! This position is responsible for year-round landscaping, maintenance, and grounds care to help maintain safe, clean, and welcoming school grounds throughout the district.
Position: Groundskeeper
Start Date: October 2026
Hours: 8.0 hours per day
Rate of Pay: $22.91/hour
Preferred Qualifications:

~ Previous successful groundskeeping experience.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Must have or be able to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License/School Bus Permit.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide acceptable documentation for Form I-9 employment eligibility verification. Bettendorf Community School District participates in E-Verify.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating friendliness, tact, patience, and courtesy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to meet the daily requirements of the position.
