Have you worked as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer? Are you a paraprofessional or teaching professional who is seeking extra income over the summer? As a Jovie Nanny you will provide care for children— toddler through elementary school age— while their parents work, so most assignments are Monday – Friday during traditional working hours. Dates and Hours: Summer 2025 – Must be available a minimum of 60 days, Monday – Friday, between May 19th and August 29th, 2025. Overtime paid at 1.5 hourly rate over 40 hours per week.

You’ll care for children in their homes
You will never be required to drive/transport children
Your only household duties will be common sense clean-up of your activities and meals with the child, no other household duties
Your care will be for children of the ages for which you have previous experience. We serve infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary ages.
Variety as you engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development
You genuinely enjoy children and are an engaging, creative, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and similar activities in families' homes
You want to make the most of summer and create memories
You’re available at least 3 days per week (M – F) to work 4 - 9 hour shifts between 7am - 7pm
You bring at least 1 year of childcare experience as a babysitter, nanny, camp counselor, teacher or similar responsible caring
You can provide our team with 3 references, 2 related to working with children, paid or unpaid, as well as 1 character reference
You’re at least 18 years of age or older
