Nursing Diploma Nursing is required Or

• Associate's Degree Nursing is required Or
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing is preferred
• 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. 2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. 1 year Emergency department charge nurse is strongly preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required And
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire is required And
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days is required
• ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months is required And
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 Months is required
• Mutual Problem Solving - Professional behaviors that help patients and families understand how to confront, learn about, and think about their health and illness; Encouraging Manner - The professional nurse communicates an attitude that is supportive, open, positive and tolerant.
