COMMERCIAL LENDER (Full-Time)

Role Description The Commercial Loan Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cincinnati, OH. This role is responsible for originating, evaluating, and managing commercial loan relationships, including small business and real estate lending, in alignment with the bank’s mission and credit standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with prospective and existing business customers, analyzing financial statements and credit information, structuring loan terms, and preparing underwriting recommendations. The Commercial Loan Officer will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely loan processing, maintain regulatory compliance, and support portfolio quality. The role also includes networking within the local business community, identifying new lending opportunities, and providing ongoing support and guidance to customers throughout the loan lifecycle.
Qualifications Experience in commercial lending and working as a Loan Officer, with a strong understanding of business credit needs.
Solid foundation in Finance, including financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, and risk evaluation.
Proficiency in Underwriting practices, credit analysis, and structuring loans within regulatory and policy guidelines.
Knowledge of commercial Loans products, including term loans, lines of credit, and real estate financing.
Strong customer relationship skills, including the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
Detail-oriented with sound judgment, integrity, and adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Familiarity with community banking environments and commitment to serving local businesses is a plus.
