CLS QC Lab

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for its STAT Lab in New Castle, Delaware. The role involves performing diagnostic testing procedures, operating laboratory instruments, and ensuring specimen quality in a high-volume environment. Monday–Friday schedule, 9:30 am–6:00 pm.

Responsibilities

Evaluate specimen acceptability and process samples for testing

Perform routine and complex technical procedures per departmental protocols

Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation

Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents and quality control materials

Document preventative maintenance and report test results accurately

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology

Minimum one year clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS degree

ASCP or AMT certification preferred

Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems

Ability to pass color blindness screening test

Strong attention to detail and communication skills
