Certified Anesthesiologist AssistantAstrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.Responsibilities for a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant:Provide anesthesia services as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) in a medically directed practice settingWork weekend-only schedule: Friday 7a-7p, Saturday 7a-7p, Sunday 7a-3p (shift times may vary)Complete 2x12-hour shifts and 1x8-hour shift per week (3 shifts per week)Support surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and perioperative staffProvide anesthesia coverage for general surgery, orthopedic, neurosurgery, trauma, OB, and cardiac proceduresMust have Level I Trauma experience as a CRNA or CAA – no exceptionsServe adult and older adult patient populationsUtilize Epic EMR system for all clinical documentationMaintain current NCCAA board certification and valid state licensureMaintain current BLS and ACLS certificationsMinimum of 1 year of experience required (2 years preferred)Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCOVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)Ensure CV is submitted in mm/yy-mm/yy format with explanations for any work history gaps over 30 daysReturn all facility-issued equipment at the end of the assignmentBenefits for a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant:Weekly pay every FridayComprehensive Professional Malpractice Insurance24/7 Recruitment SupportFull-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel TeamReferral Bonus up to $1,500Astrya Global Medical Staffing offers 10+ years of staffing experience, 100% domestic support, and is certified by both the Joint Commission and National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations.
