The Purchasing Agent manages bidding, pricing, takeoffs, PO generation, and vendor documentation to support division purchasing operations. Assist in negotiating vendor pricing and contract renewals.

Generate POs for housing starts; Enter take offs and costings for material and options into Dynamic Builder. Analyze variance trends and coordinate with field teams to implement corrective actions and continuous-improvement efforts.

Vendor & Administrative Support: Support and Maintain scopes of work, contracts and addendums, and standardized bid documents.

High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.

At least 3 years’ experience in homebuilding and/or purchasing.

Experience with MS Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel), and ERP systems.

Experience reading construction plans and conducting material and labor take offs.

Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English. Employees in the position are required to be able to hear and have sufficient vision to utilize all equipment.

Use of hands and fingers is required to utilize standard equipment.

Use of feet and legs required to walk, climb, and maneuver with construction sites.
