Assists physician and patients as needed which includes but not limited to measuring vital signs, maintaining client records, performing lab tests, administering medications, etc..

reviewing and/or recording medical history; Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during examinations; telephoning prescriptions to pharmacies; drawing blood; Educates patients by providing medication and home care instructions; Completes medical records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy patient care environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; Maintains patient confidence and protects medical office operations by keeping information confidential; Education and/or Experience: Minimum of High School Degree and obtained certification from the Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). One year related experience and/or training preferred.
