Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgery - Day Shift

Experience

12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

12 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred with 1 month within the last 24 months (2 years).

ADN completion required.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live 50 miles from facility to be submitted.

COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Staffency Program - Bellin and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Bellin.

Additional Details

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience

1-2+ years Med/Surg experience. Must have experience with venipuncture and Cardizem.

Unit Details

Ratios: Day shift 1:4, PM shift 1:4/1:5, NOC shift 1:6, occasionally 1:7.

Shift & Scheduling

Variable day/night schedule; must be flexible. Every weekend. Holiday rotation. No call. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Orientation week hours may vary; holiday weeks may be reduced when the unit is closed.

Floating Requirements

Traveler will float as needed within skill set to observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and/or transitional care units. Facility will try to keep travelers in 1-2 like units, but there is potential to float to another unit.

Time Off

14 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 7
