Emergency Physician Professional Association (EPPA) is a leading provider of emergency medical services committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients in need in the state of Minnesota. We seek to create a professionally satisfying environment for our physicians that fosters longevity in the specialty of emergency medicine. We are currently accepting applications for our 2026 cohort.
Since our inception in1969, we have paired our expertise in emergency medicine witha strong culture focused on the success of our clinicians. EPPA is currently staffing 7 Twin Cities metro hospitals, 1 central MN hospital, 5 regional/rural sites, and 3 Urgency Rooms (free-standing acute care clinics – owned and operated by EPPA). Patient volumes across all sites range from 9K-75K per year.
We are a collegial team and partner closely with colleagues across medicine in a multi-disciplinary team setting. We have long-term, stable partnerships with our health systems and the consulting physicians across our practices. We value clinical expertise, physician engagement, group citizenship, and multi-dimensional diversity.
Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree, required
Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Emergency Medicine
Successful candidates must submit to TB testing and any vaccinations recommended by OSHA Guidelines
We stagger what sites you cover depending on your tenure at EPPA. You do not work at all sites and will work with zone leadership on which sites you will cover. Physicians in this zone will have the opportunity to work at the following facilities:
