Nurse Anesthetist CRNA, Part-time

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a CRNA to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi. Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Anesthesiology services provided include obstetrical, general and regional anesthesia as well as emergency and trauma anesthesia
The CRNA will have the unique opportunity to practice in a wide variety of cases including Obstetrics and to work with a large team of anesthesiologists and CRNA's
The work hours are flexible, and a wide variety of shifts are available for the right candidates

CRNA to MD is 1:1 ratio
Under physician supervision, with latitude for individual professional judgement
Capable of interviewing patients for pre-operative assessment & evaluation, select the anesthetic agent, technique, and the use of all anesthesia-related drugs appropriate to the individual patient
Manages the anesthesia process which includes the induction, maintenance and the emergence from anesthesia
Capable of setting up and using all equipment, available in the Operating Room and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), used for the management of anesthesia and anesthesia monitoring.
Responsible for preparation, and daily maintenance & operation of anesthetic equipment
Responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory of anesthetic medications and supplies

Current NYS RN License and Registration, BSN, and MSN
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist School
Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $263,800** and $270,400** (based on years of experience) , which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $98,800***.
• Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
