Retail Scan Associate (SHELBY, MS 38774)

Base week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours (typically 1–2 hours per week per store) are assigned for special projects throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June.

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a selected range of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve sales performance for the product and retailer.

Responsibilities

Perform in-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.

Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes throughout each store.

Provide quantity for approximately 45% of the products scanned each week.

Complete display scanning for the entire store each week, which can take several hours.

Take on custom projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store each week.

Adhere to weekly deadlines to deliver accurate data to clients.

Qualifications

At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.

Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.

Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.

Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Deadline‑driven self‑starter.

Must have reliable Wi‑Fi.

Must be tech savvy.

High school diploma or GED (preferred).
