POSITION OVERVIEW Harbor Health is seeking skilled Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join our growing team. Harbor Health is an entirely new multi-specialty clinic group in San Antonio, TX utilizing a modern approach to co-create health with those who get, give, and pay for it — allowing everyone to fully flourish. As a critical member of our clinical team, you will help ensure smooth clinic operations while delivering compassionate, member-centered care that aligns with our mission of transforming healthcare through our payvider model.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with the clinical team to execute care tasks as ordered by providers
Deliver care in accordance with each member's individualized care plan
Perform client intake, collect lab specimens, and administer immunizations
Chart accurately in electronic medical records (EHR)
Complete opening and closing tasks each day to prepare for daily clinic operations
Support the care team to ensure members' needs are met and hand-offs are appropriately conducted
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or ability to renew/apply for certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in primary care or similar clinical environment
Computer proficiency with the ability to enter information in EHR systems and compile reports or data as requested
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Excellent customer service and support skills; Consistent demonstration of positive, proactive customer service and ethical behavior
Flexibility to shift priorities, maintain confidentiality, and establish effective interpersonal work relationships
Ability to work rotating shifts in a physically demanding, moderate-stress environment
