Full Time Head of Housekeeping

Grand Canyon National Park Lodges operates 6 hotels, 7 retail shops, and various restaurants and dining facilities in the historic Grand Canyon Village. We’re hiring a Housekeeping Inspectorto Live. Inspect and complete assigned section to ensure adherence to company standards and quality guest service.

Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round

Pay: $18.05 per hour

Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Maintain and uphold all company policies, assist in the development of assigned employees through training and performance enhancement.

Report to Unit Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisor on the performance and/or behavior of the employees assigned to the inspector.

Communicate effectively with Unit Housekeeper, Housekeeping Supervisor, Rooms Office staff, Front Desk, maintenance, Porter staff and other departments and guests.

Assume duties of a GRA when necessary and able to effectively carry out duties of any assigned inspector shift.

Adhere to all safety, risk management and environmental policies in performing tasks, including wearing required personal protective equipment.

Previous GRA or other housekeeping experience.

Display leadership ability, as well as a good foundation and knowledge of housekeeping operations.

Ability to maintain high quality of work & high energy while take more than 15,000-20,000 steps per workday at an elevation of 7,000 ft.
