Part Time Security Officer
Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a retail store in Somerville, MA.
Friday and Saturday 10 AM - 9 PM
Starting pay is $20.30 per hour / paid orientation / paid training / dailypay available
As a security officer in Somerville, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a part-time security officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our claim a shift platform. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a dynamic retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will interact professionally with customers and team members, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding service and communication. Part time
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of retail sales areas, stockrooms, exterior entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Complete required reports, logs, and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily security-related activities.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
