Dental Assistant – Entry Level
New Brighton Dental | Capitola, CA Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 7:45 AM–4:45 PM
New Brighton Dental is a growing startup dental practice in Santa Cruz County led by Dr. We are a quality- and patient-focused practice with a close-knit team that values teamwork, positivity, and excellent patient care.
We are seeking an entry-level Dental Assistant to join our team. Recent dental assisting graduates are encouraged to apply. Meets California requirements to work as a Dental Assistant
Current dental X-ray certification
Infection Control and California Dental Practice Act certifications, as required
Basic knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures
Willingness to learn and receive hands-on training
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
Take quality dental X-rays
Set up and break down treatment rooms
Follow proper infection-control protocols
Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked operatories
Assist with digital scanning and other clinical procedures as trained
Help support an efficient, positive clinical environment
