Pediatrics Neonatologist

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)is adding a Neonatologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx . Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. The hospitals maintain a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain their high healthcare delivery standards.

Function as the on-site senior medical physician providing clinical and technical assistance, as needed.
Consult on high-risk antepartum patients in Labor & Delivery.
Attend all deliveries with Residents during weekdays.
Attend all high-risk deliveries during evenings and overnights.
Supervise and teach residents and medical students.
Provide on-call coverage (weeknights, weekends, and holidays) as assigned by the Departmental call schedule.
Board Certification in Pediatrics.
Board Certification or Eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Active New York State Medical License.
Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $370,520** (board eligible) and $381,520** (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
