Head of Management Finance

Coordinate and execute all daily activities of the Accounting Department
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of the Company's financial results
Report directly to the Vice President of Finance of the Door Group
Work with business leadership to drive financial results and optimize business performance
Serve as a trusted business partner and provide sound opinions and decision-making
Manage production of budgets, forecasts, and operating metrics
Review the monthly accounting close process and monthly operating results
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Review operations from balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and overall business perspectives
Provide financial analyses for capital investments, pricing, cost reduction, and conversion productivity
Implement, document, and maintain internal controls and processes to improve close and reporting cycles
Expand use of the BI system and other software to drive business performance
Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment and uphold ASSA ABLOY standards
Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, local, and corporate policies, AADG programs and policies, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
Complete additional projects and assignments as required
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Economics required
Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience in the manufacturing industry
Previous experience working with data analysis software; Business Objects experience is a plus
Knowledge of IFRS and financial statement presentation
Experience with multiple ERP systems preferred; JD Edwards and Hyperion are an asset
Strong team player who can effectively interact with and motivate other team members, including peers
Ability to set and meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities under tight time deadlines
Ability to work and manage in a matrix organization
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Highly proficient in Excel, including template creation and completion, Pivot tables, SUMIFS/VLOOKUPS with complex criteria, macros, and filters
Excellent communication and time management skills in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
MBA or CMA/CPA preferred
