Part Time Investigator

This is currently a hybrid in-office and work-from-home position. Candidates must have reliable, high-speed internet and a suitable home working environment. Candidates must reside and work within the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area and be able to commute to the Colony office multiple days per week. The required on‑site days will be determined by the company.

Hourly base pay plus an aggressive, unlimited weekly performance‑oriented bonus. The position is heavily weighted toward bonus compensation with uncapped earning opportunity.

Our firm is seeking qualified individuals with excellent communication and strong customer service skills to perform skip‑tracing investigations (locates). The duties involve supporting our financial sector clients in locating and recovering collateral. Candidates must utilize computer technology to manage a case load, use a variety of investigative databases, and provide engaging service on the phone with a professional demeanor. Manage client and customer communications

Provide professional and regulatory compliant communication at all times

Document and update records based on interactions or investigative progress

Previous experience in sales, law enforcement, collections, or other related fields

Ability to communicate in English in both written and verbal forms clearly and concisely

Ability to comply with company policies, guidelines, rules, and directives

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel

This is an office‑based (currently company office and home office) position; no field work is required.
