Server Position

Servers are responsible for positive interactions while serving guests in a friendly, efficient and knowledgeable manner. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. Servers are expected to have basic cooking knowledge as well as liquor, beer and wine knowledge.

Maintains a sense of urgency throughout the shift.

Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items...etc.

Suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing guest's about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks.

Properly open and pour wine at the tableside.

Adheres to proper sidework duties, policies, and health department requirements.

Food hander certification within the county of employment.

Assisting with special events as needed.

Understands and can communicate products and services available at the restaurant.

Has basic wine knowledge and makes efforts to improve overall menu knowledge.
