Unit Guidelines/Policies
Shifts start 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Employees should be prepared to clock in, receive huddle information, and begin patient care.
No food or drinks are allowed in patient care areas.
Personal bags are not permitted in patient care areas.
Teamwork is crucial; staff members are expected to assist each other.
Lunch breaks should be clocked out/in for a full 30-34 minutes each shift.
