We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join an nationally renowned outpatient behavioral health group at their Columbia, SC clinic! Prior behavioral health experience is not required- the manager is open to considering CMAs or RMAs from any healthcare setting and provides a great training program.

Working in a behavioral health outpatient clinic setting specializing in Spravato (Esketamine) treatments and Ketamine infusions
Facility has 1 treatment room with 4 chairs and runs 2 cycles per day (morning cycle, and an afternoon cycle from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM)
Works directly alongside Nurse Practitioners (1 Psychiatrist and 4 NPs on site)
Completing documentation and Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) documentation, administering treatments, taking vitals, being on-site for support, and assisting with ordering medications
Monitoring patients after receiving treatments for adverse actions (e.g., Providing companionship and support to patients, understanding behavioral health nuances, and ability to maintain a calm, supportive environment during observation periods
