Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US Anticipated Posting End: 12/31/2026 The Opportunity: Lead systems engineering for an Agile program delivering GEOINT capabilities to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Work on-site at a Government facility as a trusted engineering partner to mission system owners. Own engineering rigor across exceptionally complex systems spanning software, data, and infrastructure. This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities: Lead requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability from mission needs to delivered capability. Develop and maintain system design documentation, engineering artifacts, and technical baselines. Lead verification and validation planning and support test execution across releases. Perform engineering trade studies and risk assessments; Coordinate engineering activities with Government engineers, delivery teams, and external programs. Mentor mid-level and junior systems engineers and enforce engineering standards. Qualifications: Required: TS/SCI Security Clearance (TS/SCI) with ability to obtain Polygraph Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted). 8+ years of systems engineering experience on complex software-intensive systems. Experience supporting Government programs through engineering reviews and technical baselines. Strong technical writing and stakeholder communication skills. Ability to work on-site at a Government facility. Experience in Agile or SAFe delivery environments.
