Electrician - Temporary Position

Electrician Class I
We are seeking a skilled Electrician Class I to join our team. This position is ideal for an experienced industrial electrician with a strong background in machinery panel building, machine wiring, and electrical troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, electrical schematics, control drawings, and bills of material
Build and wire electrical control panels from layout through completion
Prepare subplates, junction boxes, conduit, and machine wiring components
Install transformers, controls, cables, and other electrical components
Perform machine wiring and verify proper electrical connections
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, machine tools, and equipment
Conduct diagnostic check-outs of machine controls
Use electrical test equipment, gauges, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform additional duties assigned by supervisor
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in machinery panel building and machine wiring
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, conduit drawings, and bills of material
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Experience using electrical test equipment and construction-related tools
High school diploma or GED required
Must provide adequate tools required for the position
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment including walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting for extended periods
