Weekend NICU Nurse

NICU Registered Nurse - Day Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:30. Weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs.
We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to neonates in a Level III NICU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neonatal nursing and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates, including administration of medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing support for feeding and developmental needs.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and implement individualized care plans.
Assist with high-risk deliveries and manage acute nursing interventions.
Educate parents and families on infant care and health concerns.
Utilize advanced equipment and technology for monitoring and treatment.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a Level III NICU setting.
Valid California RN license in hand.
Current certifications in BCLS, NRP, and PALS (advanced NRP will be accepted if willing to complete before start).
Experience with charting in Epic is required.
