Excellent Growth and Development Opportunities Job-specific Training Offered Personal Development Leadership Development Compensation: CLASS A: Starting hourly rate for this position is: $28.00 per hour CLASS B: Starting hourly rate for this position is: $25.00 per hour Pay is based on job-related experience Schedule: Flexible route options available CLASS A: 4-10 hour days CLASS B: 5-8 hour days Location: Based out of Jamestown, ND Essential Functions: Driving. Operates company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations. Shuttles may require drivers to handle freight and/or transfer freight from one trailer to another via the domicile unloading dock Deliveries. Delivers product in a safe and professional manner within time frames designated by customer demands. Maintains a pleasant attitude and builds relationships with customers while being mindful of approximate time spent at each delivery. Produces and maintains accurate and complete records for each delivery or pickup. Produces and maintains complete and accurate records as required by DOT Hours of Service and vehicle inspection requirements. Operates/enters accurate data into the ELD system. Vehicle inspections. Conducts complete and timely vehicle inspections as required by DOT regulations and company policy. Maintains a clean truck and trailer. Maintains a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with proper endorsements at all times. Abides by DOT laws and regulations while driving and delivering company product. Actively supports the safety performance of the department and J&B. Works safely, follows all occupational safety and health policies and procedures, and encourage fellow associates to do the same. Attendance: Regular, timely attendance to meet customer needs in an efficient and effective manner. Must have flexibility to work variable hours and days which may also include weekends and overtime. Required Skills and Qualifications Requires Class A, Commercial Drivers License. Requires DOT Medical Certification. Safety Awareness - Follow all safety laws, policies, and procedures. Immediately report safety concerns to supervisor. Attend, and successfully complete, when applicable, all required safety training. Quality Awareness - Comply with the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and Food Safety and Quality Food Programs (SQF).
