Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor to join our team at Raritan, NJ.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday and alternating Saturdays, 12:00pm to 08:30pmJob ResponsibilitiesPrepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications3 months or more of specimen processing experience3 months or more of medical or laboratory experienceAdditional Job StandardsComfortability with handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensBasic computer knowledge and data entry skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentHigh level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitaskAbility to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around timesStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to handle the physical requirements of the positionAble to pass a standardized color blindness testFlexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needsAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. Shift DifferentialAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
