As a Systems Engineer , you will apply your skills to define requirements, execute architectural design analyses, manage complex system interfaces, and lead verification and validation on fusion energy systems. Your activities will span risk management, configuration and data management, integrated test planning, technical performance measurement management, and lifecycle baseline management. We are looking for our engineers to apply their technical expertise, problem solving skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact the future of energy!

Carry out systems engineering activities in accordance with tailored system engineering standards and practices.

Conduct risk assessments and ensure risk mitigation plans are developed and implemented

Develop strategies & approaches for specialty engineering (operability, reliability, maintainability, supportability) integration, analysis and verification

S. degree in engineering or other technical field (e.g. mechanical, electrical, systems, etc.)

Experience: 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience working on development programs for large, complex, integrated systems - preferably from the fusion, aerospace, or space and defense industry

System Analysis; Risk Management; Configuration Management

Experience with systems engineering tools (Jira, Confluence, Flow, Teamcenter)

S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee of granted asylum.

Risk and Opportunity Management experience

Basic project management skills including labor estimating and schedule management

Demonstrated configuration management experience

Demonstrated Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience

Xcimer operates under a flexible Paid Time Off (ATO) approach. In addition, employees receive paid sick time, 13 company-paid holidays, and an annual paid company shutdown.
