Assisting with production handling of TurnStyles donations and moving merchandise from the donation bay, through inspection, testing, pricing and on to the sales floor. The Production associate will work to reach a daily quote for items produced to the sales floor. This will be under the direction of the Production Manager while supporting sales and profitability. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees./ppEssential Functions:/pulliEnsures that each customer receives superior service/liliGreet all donors upon arrival and offer donation receipt/liliAssist on donation pick-ups and furniture delivery on the box truck as needed./liliPick up parish bin donation as needed using the Turnstyles truck./liliEnsures that donations are processed according to policy and procedure/liliEnsures compliance with Catholic Charities policies and TurnStyles policies/liliAssist staff with furniture, appliance and electronics pricing, placing receipt date on all items to track shelf life/liliFollows Employee Handbook and TurnStyles policies and procedures/liliAssists all TurnStyles Management Staff/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpRequirements:/ppMinimum Position Requirements:/pulliDemonstrate a passion for the mission of Catholic Charities/liliMust be willing to perform by the agencys values: love, patience, kindness, faithfulness, self-control and joy/liliCatholic Charities promotes a diverse workforce. Must be able to handle complaints in a tactful manner/liliMust be available to work varied hours/days to assist with store operations/liliMust pass background check and drug screen/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliAbility to lift, move and handle merchandise throughout the store (sometimes over 50 pounds)/liliStand and/or walk for long periods of time (up to 9 hours at a time)./liliWork is primarily performed in a warehouse area where the worker is subject to temperature changes, extreme cold, extreme heat, noise, and vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, dusts, and/or gases./Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas
