Network Support / IT

Description MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Network Monitoring&Reporting &Maintenance
Monitor wired and wireless networks for availability and performance.
Document and elevate unusual activity or outages to senior staff.
Perform firmware updates and basic device checks under supervision.
Follow established SOPs for changes and maintenance.
Generate and review basic network performance reports.
Client Support
Provide first-level client supportfor event-related networking needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve routineconnectivityissues.
Escalate configuration or design-level issues to senior staff.

Qualifications Education Required Associates or better in Information Technology or related field.
Experience Required Two years related experience and/or training in mid to large scale networking environments preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Flexible schedule: must work extended/irregular hours as necessary including nights, weekends and/or holidays.Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN) and other common network concepts.Exposure to routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems (coursework, labs, or entry-level work).Familiarity with device operating systems (e.g., Cisco IOS, HPE ArubaOS). Through coursework or entry-level tasks
Preferred Experience supporting and monitoring network devices, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems through coursework or entry-level experience.Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems; exposure to VoIP systems (such as Asterisk) .
