Head of Project Management

Summary

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow direction in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate is technically inclined, comfortable working with data, and eager to learn tools such as SharePoint to enhance team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate, schedule and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and capture action items.

Track, update, and maintain work requests using Excel, ensuring accuracy and clear documentation.

Support technical tasks such as basic data entry, reporting, and file organization.

Learn, maintain, and potentially build or improve team SharePoint sites to streamline processes and centralize resources.

Collaborate closely with team members to understand priorities, follow direction, and proactively assist where needed.

Monitor deadlines and deliverables, escalating when necessary to keep work on schedule.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, tracking, basic formulas, organization).

Ability and willingness to learn SharePoint site setup, content updates, and basic configuration.

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

Ability to take direction, ask clarifying questions, and complete tasks accurately.

Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with multiple stakeholders.

Technical aptitude and comfort working with digital tools and process documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting technical teams or project coordination.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Planner), and Microsoft Excel.

Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, formulas)

Microsoft Word (documentation, requirements, project briefs)

Microsoft PowerPoint (executive presentations, status reporting)

Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools (Gantt charts, timelines)

SharePoint / OneDrive (document management, team collaboration)

Teams / Zoom / Web conferencing tools

Visio or diagramming tools (process flows, org charts)

Agile and Scrum tools (boards, burndown charts, velocity tracking)

Risk and issue tracking tools

Basic data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau – optional but valuable)
