FTE: 1.0 Shift: Day, Schedule: 8 hr shift
The Security Officer is a key position on our Security Services team. In this role, you provide protection over MultiCare Health System properties and facilities. You will own the responsibility for the security and safety of MultiCare patients, employees, and visitors.
Conduct general security in the protection of people and property and the enforcement of all applicable policies, rules, and regulations.
Apply the concepts of Awareness, Vigilance, Avoidance, Defense, and Escape to effectively protect and serve facility campus.
Utilize weapons detection devices to monitor patients/visitors and ensuring the removal of contraband from facility.
Effectively operate/leverage required security equipment and tools.
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Minimum six (6) months of experience in police, military, or security, preferable in a health care setting.
First Aid training within 30 days of hire.
