Contract Type: N/A (this position is paid on timesheet) Anticipated start date: August 19, 2026 Anticipated end date: November 19, 2026 Grades: 6-8 Certificated salary: $61,340 - $120,509 per year (2025-26 SVEA Salary Schedule). Salary range based on 1.0 FTE. Classified wage: $46.14 per hour (2026-27 PSE Salary Schedule)

Certificated Schedule (0.6 FTE)

Tues: 7:30am-3:00pm (includes 30-minute paid meal break)

Wed: 7:30am-3:00pm (includes 30-minute paid meal break)

Thurs: 7:30am-3:00pm (includes 30-minute paid meal break)

Weekly Working Hours: 22.5

Classified Schedule

Tues: 7:30am-3:00pm (includes one 15-minute paid break and one 30-minute unpaid meal break)

Wed: 7:30am-3:00pm (includes one 15-minute paid break and one 30-minute unpaid meal break)

Thurs: 7:30am-3:00pm (includes one 15-minute paid break and one 30-minute unpaid meal break)

Weekly Working Hours: 21

Position is open to certificated or classified nurses. Required: A current Washington State RN license is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher is preferred with ESA certification or willingness to obtain.

To be an independently functioning member of the Health Services team working under the direction of a Student Services Administrator and/or Lead Nurse to actively promote wellness to staff, students, and parents. Please see attached job description for complete details.

Benefit Eligibility: Insurance: Substitutes are not eligible for insurance unless they have worked or are anticipated to work at least 630 hours in a school year at which point they will become eligible for medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, basic life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
