About the Job: We’re looking for an experienced Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse for a travel contract in Shreveport, LA. This position is ideal for an RN with a background in step-down or intermediate care who is ready to make a difference in patients' lives while exploring a new city. Key Responsibilities:

Provide care for patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical units

Monitor patient progress and vital signs

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans

Educate patients and their families on post-hospital care and recovery

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities

Previous travel experience is a plus but not required
