MedSurg Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shifts

Med/Surg Registered Nurse - Night Shift
Location: Lee's Summit, MO
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM, with weekend shifts required (2 shifts per month)
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team on the night shift. The unit consists of 36 beds with a staff of 69, including RNs and Patient Care Technicians. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care and assess patient needs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor vital signs and patient conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Document patient care and responses in the EMR (Meditech)
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Valid RN license
BLS and ACLS certification required
Flexible schedule preferred
