Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift
Location: Cypress, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Job Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. We are seeking a dedicated, skilled nurse to join our team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and efficient workflows.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage patients effectively.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Perform emergency care procedures, including CPR, tPA administration, and laceration repairs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record (Meditech).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED).
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC.
