A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FIELD NURSE (LPN)

As an LPN in home health care, you play an essential role in visiting patients in their homes to ensure they receive high-quality care that meets their specific needs. When meeting with patients, you provide hands-on nursing skills, including injections and wound care while ensuring equipment and materials are prepared correctly. You also teach your patients appropriate self-care techniques, so they are able to have some control over their own health. In addition, you aid RNs or physicians in performing specialized procedures and duties as well as carrying out any oral or written instructions that come your way. To ensure the safety of your patients, you practice infection control and universal precautions. Always reliable and punctual, you maintain regular attendance to complete your day-to-day tasks and submit any documentation regarding clinical notes and driving records. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FIELD NURSE (LPN)

• Active nursing license in the state of Oklahoma
• 1+ years of nursing experience
• Ability to travel long distances and adapt to schedule changes
• Basic knowledge about computers
