Retail Store Receptionist

Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting for a dependable and motivated Receptionist to join a retail lumber and custom woodworks business. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with customers, supporting sales, and keeping daily office operations running smoothly.
Pay: $22/hr. with room for advancement
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM & Saturday, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Responsibilities Manage daily office and administrative tasks.
Monitor office supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
Answer phones, emails, and customer inquiries.
Assist customers in-store and support sales.
Prepare estimates, invoices, and customer paperwork.
Follow up with customers regarding estimates and orders.
Schedule appointments and coordinate customer projects.
Communicate with customers, vendors, contractors, and the shop.
Maintain an organized office and showroom.
Assist with social media and marketing as needed.
Requirements Previous office administration, sales, or customer service experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Friendly and professional with customers.
Social media or marketing experience is a plus.
Lumber, woodworking, construction, or home improvement experience is a plus, but not required.
