This role requires a comprehensive understanding of departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and standards related to nursing practice. This part-time night shift position involves applying clinical judgment, interpretive skills, and effective communication to support patient care delivery. Frequent interaction, collaboration, and consultation with interdisciplinary healthcare team members are essential to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated patient outcomes. \Patient Care & Clinical Practice \n

• Facilitates, implements, and evaluates the patient Plan of Care to achieve optimal outcomes. \Provides timely and appropriate nursing interventions based on patient needs and clinical priorities. \Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and technical competence in delivering patient care. \Assesses, analyzes, and communicates patient condition changes and relevant clinical information promptly to the healthcare team. \Collaborates effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to promote positive patient outcomes. \Patient Safety & Risk Management \n
• Identifies patient safety risk factors and initiates appropriate interventions related to fall prevention, skin integrity, restraint use, and other safety concerns. \Follows medication safety policies and procedures to ensure safe administration practices. \Accurately and promptly documents patient assessments, interventions, responses to care, and provider communications in the medical record. \Ensures documentation meets regulatory, legal, and organizational standards. \Delegation & Supervision \n
• Appropriately delegates and supervises assigned staff and assumes accountability for all care provided to assigned patients. \Monitors team performance and reports performance issues to leadership to ensure safe and effective patient care. \Documents education provided and patient understanding. \Provider Orders & Care Coordination \n
• Reviews, initiates, and implements provider orders accurately and in a timely manner each shift. \Ensures continuity and coordination of care throughout the shift. \Completes required education, annual competencies, and mandatory training on time. \Participates in unit-based councils, performance improvement initiatives, and shared governance activities. \Identifies unit needs and contributes to solutions \n
• Minimum of 1 year as a nurse \n
