School Physical Therapist - Full Time or Part Time

Job Description Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Physical Therapist in a collaborative school environment near Joliet, IL. Multiple full-time openings are available (part-time applicants also considered) for travel professionals who thrive in dynamic settings. This in-person opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through June 2027, with the chance to work Monday through Friday on a flexible daytime schedule in several schools across Romeoville and Bolingbrook.
Bring your skills to a varied caseload of 35-45 students, ranging from elementary age to young adults in transition programs. You'll play an essential role in helping students build physical independence and maximize their participation in school activities.
Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT)
Active Illinois Physical Therapy License
Ability to provide direct and consult physical therapy services
Ready to travel between multiple school locations within a day
Deliver comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide direct physical therapy services, adapting interventions to diverse student needs
Train and guide staff and students on the use of positioning and mobility equipment
Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, nurses, and fellow therapists to develop supportive interventions
