Journeyman Plumber -Construction

We're seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems across a variety of projects. In this role, you'll interpret plans and specifications, diagnose plumbing issues, ensure work meets applicable codes and safety standards, and collaborate with other trades to keep projects moving safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a licensed Journeyman Plumber who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works well independently and as part of a team, and brings a reliable, professional approach to every job.

Plumbing Installation, Repair & Maintenance

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, water heaters, toilets, sinks, and related plumbing systems.

Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.

Respond to emergency plumbing service needs as required.

Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and building specifications.

Determine appropriate plumbing system layouts and installation requirements.

Perform work in accordance with local, state, and national plumbing codes.

Project Coordination & Execution

Coordinate plumbing activities with electricians, builders, and other trades.

Communicate project needs, potential issues, and progress to appropriate team members.

Prepare material and labor estimates as needed.

Support efficient project execution while maintaining quality workmanship.

Tools, Materials & Documentation

Maintain plumbing tools and equipment in safe, reliable working condition.

Track materials and supplies used to complete assigned work.

Ensure work areas, tools, and materials are organized and properly maintained.

Previous experience working as a Journeyman Plumber in commercial construction or a related environment.

Experience coordinating plumbing work with other trades on active construction sites.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and complete work with minimal supervision.

Technical Plumbing Expertise

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, equipment, and installation practices.

Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes, standards, and safety requirements.

Effectively diagnose plumbing system issues and identify root causes.

Quality & Safety Focus

Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Properly maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.

Coordinate work with other trades to support efficient project execution.
