Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse – Night Shift Assignment in Albuquerque, NM Join a rewarding Med/Surg Registered Nurse travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico . This medical-surgical nursing job is ideal for an experienced RN who thrives in fast-paced acute care, supports adult and geriatric patients, and enjoys working in a collaborative hospital environment.
Medical/Surgical unit
Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)
Shifts Per Week: 4
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
Within scope to like units as needed
Weekend Coverage: Charting System: Epic
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or compact license eligible before start

• At least 1 year of Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience required
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Comfort with floating to similar units within scope
• Ability to support a patient ratio of 1:6 on days, nights, and weekends

Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care for Med/Surg patients during night shifts
Administer medications and manage treatments in accordance with care plans
Support patients requiring telemetry, wound care, IV therapy, and other common medical-surgical interventions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response resources
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and communicate effectively with the care team
Float within scope to comparable units based on facility needs
Promote a positive patient experience while working in a team-oriented hospital environment
